Melissa Mericle is a board-certified nurse practitioner. Melissa specializes in Gynecology-Oncology at Arizona Center for Cancer Care working alongside Dr. Lyndsay Willmott. Originally, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2004. Her desire to further her education and continued passion for helping others led her to pursue a degree in Nursing, graduating in 2014. Her nursing experience includes working with a very diverse patient population in correctional health, then within the inpatient setting, including medical-surgical care, oncology, and OB/GYN. After working as a registered nurse for five years she then achieved her Master of Science in Nursing, graduating from Northern Arizona University to become a nurse practitioner in 2021.   

Melissa has worked closely with Dr. Willmott for 6 years caring for her patients during hospitalization as a Registered Nurse and now in the outpatient setting during their medical journey as a Nurse Practitioner. She practices open communication and values an educational experience when assisting her patients.   

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with family. You may find her ringside at her daughter's boxing training or on the sideline at her son's football game. When she is not busy with sports, she enjoys cuddling up on the couch with her three dogs watching cooking shows or true crime investigations.
