Biography
Dr. Jeans an Arizona native returned to the Valley in 2022 after 15 years to join Arizona Center for Cancer Care.
Dr. Jeans has served or currently serves as chief resident, chair of Society of Women in Radiation Oncology (SWRO), vice chair of Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO), board member: Radiation Oncology Education Collaborative Study Group (ROECSG), mentorship chair of American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA).
Dr. Jeans was awarded the highest honor a resident can receive in training: Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Award (annually, six residents training at Arizona, Florida or Rochester are chosen to receive the award based on outstanding clinical performance, humanitarianism, and scholarly activity).
She is skilled in EBRT techniques (IMRT, SBRT, electron), brachytherapy (intracavitary and interstitial procedures). Dr. Jeans has also opened 4 prospective studies and authored papers and textbooks.
In her spare time, Dr. Jeans enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding and is an avid runner, biker and swimmer.
